This is the fopurth Model"A" I have owned. I got my first one when I was13 yrs old for helping my Uncle make hay. He gave me the car because he had drank up all his money. My father was not happy! I bought this one in Coinjock, NC about eight years ago and it had an amature restoration done on it so it needed lots of work. I trailered it from Norfolk, VA to Michigan's Upper Peninsula four years ago when I moved out of Norfolk and came back home to Michigan after spending 20 years in the Navy and 20 years working for the Navy as a civilian. That car has a busy summer schedule up here, I enter in in car shows, drive it in parades and take it to county fairs. The farthest I have driven it is to Copper Harbor, MI, it is about 75 miles north of my home.

Thanks Senior Chief! Love to hear those type stories. I've loaded some hay bales before but never been fortunate enough to have gotten paid with a Model A. Come to think of it I don't remember gettin paid at all. Maybe now I know what to ask for. Have a great summer showing the car.
