happened to mine in june or somewhere around there. truck ran fine for about a week before i put the new alternator in it. got the alt. from napa, under 200 if i remember. once changed, everything was back to normal. id nip in the bud now if i were you and just swap a new alternator in.
Check all the connections on the batteries, starter, starter solenoid and alternator. I would have the batteries and alternator tested before you start throwing expensive parts at it. $200 is alot $$ to find out it was a bad connection.
if she goes up a bit when you rev it up its a sure fire way to tell, but definatly check the connections at the alternator, if you find its bad hit up advance auto for the paladine reman, its 120 bucks, reman of a delco remy using motorcraft parts, lifetime warrenty, 130 amp, its still running great on my truck. or if you dont want a reman the brand new paladine is 165 i think with a lifetime warrenty as well
