Softer ride wanted

Have an '05 F-350 King ranch that came with a Fabtech 6" lift. Fabtech has said the spring rates are the same as factory. That said, how can I soften my ride? Have had a suggestion to replace the 20" wheels and 33" tire combo with smaller rims/larger tires. Can I remove a leaf, etc. to soften? Don't require the load capability of a 1 ton - truck was a decent price so I bought it. Tire pressure is at 70 psi, max for them is 80 psi.

I'd decrease the tire pressure first, especially on the rear.

take a bunch of air out.
You can als convert the rear to a coilover from pro-comp. Takes a bunch of load capacity away, but rides like a car.
Still a 1 ton truck, so keep expectations reasonable.

Any others?

Checked Pro-Comp site but could not find coilover conversion.

It is part of thier XXX suspension system. It incorperates the front dual coilover and the rear coilover kit with hydro bumpstops yada, yada, yada.
You might inquire with a few of the sponsors. We did install a complete kit on a SD, and it rode very well. Was actually pleasant to drive on rough roads, but other than slow responding, I feel the factory coil sprung trucks ride well too. They are slow feeling like I said, maybe a 1 ton truck is too much truck??????

Thanks 75F350 - will look up the info. Yes, you are correct - I may have too much truck for my needs (hurts to say that!).
