05 swap with coil springs and track arms. Also a couple companies make lift/conversion kits to swap to coil springs.

Once I have the r4tech rear kit paid off I am going to look into getting an 05 axle/suspension kit for the front. Better ride and more steering.

I don't think there is a cheap fix.

You will need an 05 rear axle too. Well not NEED, but should get. Because the 05 axles are wider. Other wise you will have a front axle 4 inches wider than your rear.

What front leaf springs do you have? Snow plow package? What psi you run in your front tires?

Believe or not...but shocks will make a tremendous difference in ride.

Tire pressure, thats a good call. I put on some 19.5 wheels and tires. Max pressure is 140psi. I ran them up to 100psi and man it was a rough ride.

If it were me and I wanted a softer ride out of my leaf sprung truck I would contact these guys: Alcan Spring - Manufactures Fine Custom Leaf Springs They can make you a spring pack that will be as comfortable as you can get out of any leaf spring set up.

These people do great work. When I was big into Jeepin these we had several people in our group run springs from this company. No complaints at all.

Try running 60 psi in the fronts and rears unless you're loaded up.

I am still wandering if the Sulastic springs are any good. If so how long does the rubber in side them last?

If you have a few bucks to spend, check out Kelderman air ride. I dont know if you could have a air ride suspension kit from them without the lift?? but ridin on air, I'd imagine it'd work like a super duty, ride like a caddy...

I bought a 01 F450 Diesel with the Kelderman Air Ride installed on the rear and the truck has almost no bounce to it. I had a 99 F250 a few years back with the stock rear end and it bounced around pretty good, so with the Kelderman on the F450 it must be a huge improvement over the stiff stock rear!

You think shocks would help an 2011 ride too? Front and rear shocks I don't even recall seing shock in the front springs. How big of a ride improvement??? Will I ride like a buick except a tad higher
