351w Into 55 F500

I Want To Put A 351w Into A 55 F500 And Use The Stock Transmission And Transmission Mount. Does Anyone Make A Bellhousing That Has The Transmission Mount On It That Will Bolt Up To A S.b. Ford?

Welcome to the site, great to have you on board.
It will be a lot easier to use the matching and a much stronger transmission rather than the stock one. It`s not too hard to make a trans mount and to change the drive shaft, you`ll end up with a much better setup.

If you get a ZF from a 4x4 and a trans mounted parking brake from a Super Duty you also have a good over drive trans and a parking brake too!

Cheers,

I DON" HAVE A LOT OF MONEY TO SPEND AND THIS IS A WORKING TRUCK AND I NEED TO MINIMISE DOWNTIME. I HAUL 1000 GALLONS OF WATER WITH IT ONCE A WEEK. BESIDES THAT THE STOCK TRANSMISSION HAS 35K MILES ON IT AND WORKS PERFECTLY. THE GEAR SPACING IS IDEAL FOR SPLIT-SHIFTING WITH THE STOCK 2SPD REAR END,AND THE TRANSMISSION HAS THE EMERGENCY BRAKE MOUNTED ON THE BACK OF IT.

Talking

Cookie you could use a bell from a late 60's -70's F500 -600 with a 300/6
and 4spd . These bells have the bolt pattern you need and the mount ears
that will let you use the stock mounts.

Sorry, my bad as I missed your truck being a F500!
Congrats, nice to see the F500 alive and working away.
