Hopefully someone out there can help me with this question. I've been contemplating opening up a car wash in my hometown and I was wondering if anyone knew of any equipment distributors I can start talking to so I can get together my proposal for the bank. Anything from the pressure washing system to the automated car wash. Anything would be helpful because I figure there might even be a car wash owner among you who is willing to help. Thank you for your time and have nice day.
Well I'm really just hoping to get a 4 lane with the washing system & vacuum. If I'm lucky to be granted enough money I would like to get one of those automated systems but who knows. I doubt it but just something really simple. The washing system with the spotless rinse, high pressure rinse, liquid soap, heavy soap with brush, etc. and the vacuuming system. There is only one in my town at its way the end parish border where no one likes to go because of the riff raff that resides on the opposite side. So I want to open one further up. I don't know what kind of details you need but I would need everything from the supplies like filters and soaps to machinery. Thank you for your help so far.
You need to check with city and county codes. That may be the reason for only 1 where you live.
The waste water here has to be recycled on site also, plus a big fee for the water company.
Well there used to be 5 but since the hurricane only one has emerged and I figure I could jump in and get something started. It is a good point though I'll make sure to check into it tomorrow. Thanks for the input.
i emailed the guy i know, i think he may be at a horse show right now out of state.
he purchased a car wash right out of high school with insurance settlement money from a drunk driver wreck. he paid i think $100 grand down and financed the rest, it was in a good spot then and is even a better spot now. he had an offer a couple of years ago of $500 grand for the place.
he opened up another one in another suburb, and went into a partnership with another guy and started a car wash parts distrubition business for carwashes looking to update or build new ones. they do most of their business in ks and mo.
