Has anyone ever installed an additional wtr temp gauge on their v-10 and if so where on the head did you install the additional sensor? Did Ford put in any alternate ports where this could be installed? Thx.

Gary, Take a look at this guys installation on his site....www.eurekaboy.com He has good pics and explanations of what he did. I'm thinking though that I may be able to use the port in the top frt of the intake for the wtr sender. I'm gonna try to find out if this area is in the wtr flow. I'll let ya know when I found out. WOW, that is about the coolest stuff I ever saw.Love that tranny filter, and all thr gages.Think I would like mine in the dash. Looks real cool, and would not take anything away from him, but just would like them in the dash.He put a lot of work into the gages, and a LOT of work in pics.
GOOD JOB MAN,

Kirk,

I did my H2O temp guage early this summer using Stan's (eurekaboy) install instructions. Worked great except that I had to fabricate an adapter as the sensor plug was too small for the port. Lots of fluid to drain and the fluid in the block stays hot for a LONG time. I seem to run about 80 over ambient unloaded in town and have seen as high as 201 towing up a long pass. By the way, I'm using SPA guages which are really nice.
