can anyone tell me if a compressor out of a 91 explorer will work in a 90 f250...
I compared the numbers to one that was installed in and f150 and munbers seemed to match up. only difference i can see is the plug location is straight up instead of to the side (rotated 90 degrees)
didnt think about clocking the Clutch 90*..... only reason going to use the one off the Explorer is I picked it up for $20 compared to cheapest new compressor is round $200
Got the Explorer compressor in works like a charm. truck gets nice and cold now.. looking at the old compressor I am suprised it held to gether as long as it did.. Cluthc core was melted and pulley was really wobble once the belt tension was taken off....
ogt lucky once again
