"Gentle" Automatic Transmission Flush
The question is... At how quick of a pace do I add new fluid? Just follow the capacity reccomendations for a complete system flush, have the bottles set aside, and let it go until I've poured them all in and have fresh, pink fluid at the exit line?
I was wanting to get this taken care of as I change the plugs and all at 100k miles.
Any suggestions or reccomdations are absolutely appreciated!
Also, how about Seafoam's Trans-X or Trans-Flush? I can't think of what they call it. Would ya'll reccomend it with a good shifting automatic, or just for one with problems?
The only complaint I have is a noticable "purge" when the transmission shifts into OD. I'm hoping that fresh Mercon V fluid will take care of that.
