I have a 96 explorer and it is shaking violently at 65 mph. It almost feels like a tire is going to fall off. I took it to firestone today and they rebalanced the tires and adjusted the alignment but the car still shakes at around 65-70. I have read the posts about the parking break issues in the f-150 but no one has linked it with the explorers. Any advice would be greatly appericiated.
it is either your wheel bearing or if it 4x4 its your front diff.
if its your wheel bearing get it fixed now your wheel while fall off and break every thing near the bearing that happened to me and cost a lot of money!!!!!
if its 4x4 your diff will lock up on you and your not going any where that just happened to me last week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
