On the factory DVD there is a 1-800 number on the disc that you can call and order an updated disc for the navigation system. Also you can try your fathers disc and see if it will work in your truck.

So did you fathers DVD work?
I just purchase a 05 EB, it came with the 12 NaV CD's which are almost useless for me. I live in central IL about 10 miles north of the CD split, so I have to change CD's anytime I head south.
When I look at NavTech's website and go through the process like I am going to order new maps, it only gives me the option of the newer CD's, not the DVD
I was curious to know if the DVD would work or if the 2005 is forced to use the CD's???
