Help.....
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 29-Jul-02 AT 08:32 PM (EST)]I have a 98 F-150 and it refuses to pull in reverse of 2nd for very long...... You start going and then its like someone slammed the brakes down on you? What could this be? It has 95000 miles on it and the fluid is fine. 
Any help will be greatly appreciated..thanks in advance.

The guys should be showing up soon.
They are usually busy about this time.
You mention (pulling) do you putting and pulling in and out of gear reverse or 2nd ?
Or do you mean Pulling a load in either reverse or 2 nd?

This isnt understandable.. If you want a good answer I recommend
stating what you own ..4x4 or 4X2 stick or auto what engine
year etc.. then state your problem clearly because when i read
refuses to pull in reverse of second... I am thinking
Fix your post and we will try to get you an answer
