ok,i posted something about a month ago about my cracked rim.DO NOT WELD CRACKED RIMS!It was a horror show leaked ,had it welded like,4 times and its not worth it.Now i have a question... I measured my rims and they measure 16.5 across and the tires are 35/12.5.Does anyone know where to get rims cheap?.I cant afford alot of money but i also can't swallow my pride and buy just one or two rims.Also which is better for a truck that 4 wheels all the time steel,or alum thanks

sure hope nobody told you to weld your rims! A 16.5? advise going away from 16.5 wheels, Im sure every one else will do the same. Although you'll need new tires. 16.5 rims can be just plain dangerous, the bead is not engineered like most other wheels and does not hold as well (cant be aired down either). Also the 16 and 16.5 outer flanges are very much the same size and a 16 tire can mistakenly be mounted on a 16.5 wheel causing the bead to fail and possibly rupture. Could be something else bad but these wheels are before my time and all i know is to stay away. (16.5s have been banned in europe a long time ago) steel wheels are probably best for the budget minded. simple white or black spokes are cheap and can even be plentiful in junkyards. If buying used steel or aluminum inspect them carefully.

ok,thats really stinks to hear that 16.5 rims are junk.My tires are about a year and a half old.I dont want to junk $900 worth of tire .I still need to know where is a good place to get rims online,like i said i just want rims nothing fancy.. its pretty much a work truck
