where in the world did you pull that 1.98" intake size out for 1990 heads? It's wrong all the standard passenger car/truck heads used 2.08" intakes. only ones not were the cj/scj stuff. Even the vaunted DOVE heads were 2.08"
the first one is wrong, and I don't see anywhere in Scotts site where he even lists the valve sizes for the E7TE and F3TE heads.
there might be some confusion coming from this due to the fact that the 460 head casting for the first gen fuelie heads was E7TE, and in 87 ford went to a E7TE casting number on the 351W heads which would in fact have a 1.98" valve size as I recall.

I own a 1992 and as stated above the E7TE heads have 1.98 intake valves and the F3TE heads have 2.08 I have measured both. My E7TE heads now have 2.08 valves in them. I have a set of F3TE heads that will go on when I overhaul it.
