2001 Regular Cab Interior Light Questions
Just purchased 2001 regular cab, interior light works with dash mounted dimmer switch, but doesn't work when the doors are opened. Any suggestions on where to start?

Hey guys, had to figure this one out the hard way ... on my own. It seems the previous owner had the famous Ford sticking door switch problem, unpluged the switch connectors, and left them in the door in order to "fix" it. I had already given the door locks a good shot of WD40 and few good slams, so the light worked perfect once the connectors were re-attached. (I picked up this simple door switch repair on the forum about a year ago, and have used it on all 3 of my trucks since- Thanks)

On a similar note, I've heard of original owners pulling fuses in order to axxomplish the same thing, and then forgetting to mention that fact when they sell the truck.
