Dtc 18?
I'm working on an 1991 Ranger 2.3L and am having problems figuring out a code 18 (spout grounded, IDM circuit, Tach pulse), 98 (Hardfault) , and 90 ( not sure) and how they correspond. the engine runs at only 400 rpm and runs a little rough. I checked the spout connection and it seems to be fine. Checked coils also and they appear to work fine. Could the pcm be the cause? The vehicle had an intermitent starting problem also, but hasn't acted up for awhile. I did change the ecm relay. Would appreciate any input. Thanks.
