I just recieved my EGR space and am a little pissed off. This is what the listing said:
This is a new 65mm EGR Spacer for a 5.0 engine. This EGR spacer is made for use with a 65mm Throttle Body.
And what I got was a used 93-95 Lightning 65mm EGR spacer. It still had silicone on one side! It also has to be missing the coolant fittings which will be a pain to find.
And to top it off he ripped me off on shipping as I just calculated it as $12.75 and he charged my $50!
I guess the only thing good thing is I can use it with some modifications.
Upon looking at CrownVic.net I've found out the Lightning spacer can work for both Mustang/Cougar/T-bird and Crown Vic/Lincoln intakes. It also uses the Crown Vic style coolant ports. Now I have to go to bucks some time and get the fittings from a Crown Vic intake.
So was this what he sent in a picture. The new one and you got a used one missing parts. Like I said if this was ebay I fire a comment on his rep section. You can also complain to ebay, they do not want bad fraudulent sellers on their site and they try to ban these guys.
Or did you get this somewhere else. I know we cannot name or badmouth businesses on here. There must be some way to put the word out to warn others not to be conned by this guy.
The new picture was in the auction and the other picture is what I got. I did give him negative feedback. Complaining to E-bay won't help much.
At least on the bright side I did get a part that will work. Technically the part I got is better (other than the missing two fittings) than the cheap china ones. I probably could get close to my money back if I listed it properly on E-bay. Well chalk it up as experience and not to bid without getting a shipping quote first.
I'm not quite as mad as when I opened the box. This little rant has helped.

I`m always leery of E-Bay, I hate to pay for something based on just a vague description and like you say, no use complaining to E-Bay.
If something can`t be found locally or other wise then I guess E- Bay is the only way.
well...i was going to say that it sucks, but if you can make use of it still, thats not too bad. i've had good luck with ebay so far, i'm curently waiting for my largest purchase to come in...
yeah i wish...could happen...but not right now. i bought a new miter saw. one that isn't sold willingly in canada... good thought on the lightning though!!!
Here I got all excited about a ride in a Lightning or at least some neat but
unobtainable and extremely rare Ford part....
Silly me but I can still dream.....
