Pocket, it's not a 1/8" NPT. It's some sort of other fitting. I know ITP sells an adapter, but I just took the plug to the hardware store to find matching fittings. It was some sort of flare fitting IIRC. Once you have the correct fitting, just find the correct adapter to go to 1/8" NPT for the pressure sensor. The flare on the fitting will need to be ground off to prevent it from protruding into the fuel bowl. Re-use the stock o-ring for sealing.
The MAP may be reading a little out of spec, but if it goes entirely bad, I think it should throw a code.

Here is a paste from my original post and a picture of the fitting
and the answer is 7/16-20 SAE o-ring, to a 1/8NPT.
Clint you are right it is a straight thread and not a taper.
Pete, I actually got a used fuel bowl assembly from local dealership Mech so I could explain to the parts guys what I needed.
You can also get this same fitting from Dennis at ITP diesel for 5.95 plus shipping.
the one I got is a Parker fitting and it came from Alabama bolt and Supply. $3.38. Fuel pressure guage is up and running and reading 69 to 70 PSI, of course that is with a .065 shim. No leaks or drips.
