Source for grille?
I'm looking to find an egg crate style grille for my '01 excursion like the one shown in this link:

I'm willing to swap or swap + $$ with someone if you are looking for a billet style grille like the one shown in this link:

I'm only talking about the grille insert, not the surrounding plastic/chrome frame.
Mine doesn't have the ford plaque or a space for it - just solid vanes accross the front. It is in good structural condition, but does have a fair amount of pealing black paint on the sides of the vanes so it would likely need to be sand blasted & repainted.
I'm looking to increase air flow for cooling efficieny with the egg crate style grille.

The grilles are only available as complete units - there is no eggcrate "insert". Your's has had the eggcrate removed to accomodate the billet insert. Some of the billet grilles are "overlay" and others require the trimming that yours has had done. I have not found any aftermarket sources for the excursion grille, and it is too bad that yours was not done with the overlay method, as now it is basically altered for life. They are very pricey from Ford and difficult to locate in salvage yards. Sorry for the bad news.

I have this one on my 2000 and it is awesome. Completely updates front end and should provide better airflow for you.
