I just put autometer phantom gauges in my truck and the boost gauge is acting funny. When the gauge reaches 15 psi the needle gets real fluttery. 15 psi is all my truck is putting out. Has anyone else experienced this? My buddy has the more expensive autometer gauges in his truck and he has never seen them do this. And should my truck be putting out more than 15psi? it has 175000 mi on it.
I have heard lots of people complaining about a fluttering gauge but I never really heard the fix for it. I would try to call Autometer about it. they will probably have a fix for you.
I run autometer gauges and never had a problem, I'd try and check your line or any of the ferrel fittings for leaks, is your turbo in decent shape, filter clean??
I have heard you should put a little loop in the line in the pillar to prevent fluttering. I know I fixed the majority of my issues by fixing leaks in the gauge line.

Thats what i was wondering...could my turbo be on it's way out? I have to check over the line first. The splice fitting they gave me was a rubber push-on style and it is junk. I am going to get a threaded brass one and put a loop in the line as well. Thanks everyone for the help.
