SCMT Won't Work

Just purchased a SuperChip Micro Tuner part#1715 for my 2000F350 with a V10. When it tries to establish communications I get an error message that says to check connections. Both end are connected just fine but it will not establish communications. Any ideas what the problem might be? The wiring to the diagonostic port looks just fine. I purchased the unit directly from SuperChips as there is no dealer in my area, and of course no customer service on Saturday. Thanks in advance, Jake.:-(

SCMT Won't Work

Look to see if the connectors and pins are clean. Is everything plugged in tightly? Ask ofen in the chip discussion area.

Direct? Ouch!! Full retail mail order is expensive. You could have gotten here for a lot less (and we check email and the boards on the weekends). The unit is bad. Return it for a refund or exchange.

If they will give you a refund, order one thru this web site and you will save some $$$.

I that's the case he would be better off returning it to the manufacturer for a refund and then buy it here cheaper.
