Question Shift on the fly HUBS?

Does anyone know if between 01 and 02 Ford changed their hubs. My truck is an 02 but i think i might have 01 ESOF hubs? The 02 manual says that for both ESOF and manual hubs counter clockwise is LOCK, but my hubs LOCK clockwise?

Lock is clockwise (turn to the right), and Auto is counterclockwise (turn to the left). There's no difference between '01 and '02.

Heh - I suffered some of the same headaches...

The manual for my '99 shows clockwise as "Auto" instead of "Lock", and the labels on my hubs are completely worn off. The way to remember the direction would be (besides a sticky note in your manual) to think "CLOCK - LOCK". My solution is going to the Warn hubs. I love the ESOF concept, but even after meticulously following Guzzle's hub maintenance directions, my hubs are a bear to turn. They cost twice what a set of Warn Premiums do, so bye bye ESOF.
