Can anybody recommend a good heavy-duty set of seat covers for the '08 ? Links would be appreciated. Would they be the same as the last generation SDs?
My medium stone interior is already showing dirt and wear on driver seat at 1500 miles. Figure I better get some protection on them ASAP.
I was reasearching some and found some neoprene seat covers at http://www.wetokole.com/ but the prices seem a little high, has anyone tried these out yet or any equivalent? I heard neoprene is the way to go.
Wet okole IMO are the best seat covers you can buy. I just stuck some on my F150 and love them. I also have friends with them and some have covers that are over 5 years old and they still look new. You pay a price for them but are worth it. You order them and they are custom handmade and are very tight once you get them on the seats.
marathonseatcovers.com I personally have these covers and they are the toughest i have ever seen.I have been a dealer for these for a few years and the quality is second to none. From Work to Hunting they hold up superior. They are each made to fit your particular application. Complet sets front and rear about 450.00. Good Luck
Never could figure out why folks cover their seats to keep them nice for the next guy. Enjoy the interior as is. I use leather cleaner and conditioner, but don't get concerned if it wears a bit. You won't get an extra $450 when you sell the truck, and you wlll have denied yourself the enjoyment of the leather and good looks. Just my 2 cents.

Remember Pigpen from Peanuts? That's what I look like some days working on the ranch. It's as if I found a dirt pile and rolled around in it. I've only had my truck a few weeks and the leather is already getting pretty dirty.
With the seat cover I can at least take it off and wash it now and then.
Thanks for the tips and links. You guys are the best.

Thanks BASSHUNTER! Those really look great and I appreciate your first hand endorsement. I'm familiar with the product Cordura and it is super tough, especially the 1000 Denier, so that's what I just ordered.
I was originally thinking of going with a solid color, but chose this camo pattern instead. Figured that it would help to hide the dirt better between cleanings.
You are exactly right on the seat covers.I installed the ones from my 2006 to the 08.They don't even show any signs of wear after 2 years of work and lot's of hunting trips(mud,dirt,ect...)I have only washed them once after a long winter of hunting.Pics of my 2008 F250 in let's see your 08.
Hey the seat covers came in today. It only took 10 working days including shipping. Not bad at all considering they had to make the order for my specific model with my choice of fabric.
So far so good I put on the front seat covers this evening. Haven't motored around with them yet but they go on nice and snug and the material is hell for stout.
I have the 40 20 40 front seats and ordered the center console piece. I'm not sure about keeping this part on because it fastens by gluing one side of the velcro to the inside of the console. Not sure how that will hold up in our summer heat so I think I'll experiment with a small piece before installing that.
I need to put some miles on tomorrow so I'll get a chance to test them out and maybe even install the rear seat tomorrow too.
Big Sky, The velcro strips hold up awesome. No issues.I had the covers on my 2006 F250 and switched them over to the 2008 F250.Never had a problem. The heat doesn't seem to affect them or the velcro at all.

Well I read your post and just went and got the console cover all stuck down in place. I followed the directions and wiped the areas with rubbing alcohol first. As with the rest of the package it fits nice and snug.
Beerstalker I'll try to get a photo up tomorrow for you. Until then I can tell you that they fit really nice. I put a couple of hundred miles on today and if anything they conformed even better to the seat bottom. They also don't feel as hot as the leather seats alone and today was a cooker.
I did the get the rifle holder, case version. That's the last piece for me to install. I'll let you know once it is in.
I have Wet Okoles in the 07 F-350 and 99 F-150. Love the covers.
Easy to clean....even oil and grease stains with the shampoo/cleaner that I bought from Wet Okole.
I got them since they are waterproof and I often get in the truck after being in a downpour, or covered in sweat....and occasionally I have the windows open when it starts to rain. This way all the moisture doesn't soak into the factory seats.....just a quick wash of the covers with a rag, some deodorizer and uv protectant and they are like new.
