75 VIN Number Location
I just purchesed a 75 highboy out of state and am trying to get it inspected so I can title the truck. A previous owner painted the truck and removed the vim tag from the door and the stecker from the cab. I am now trying to figure out on the frame where the vin numbers are stamped. Someone told me that I could find them on top of the frame unber the batterty. Ilooked and had no luck. Any help would be appriciated.

The number is there between the firewall and support, just may have to REALLY look for it. I found mine after I sandblasted the frame, but most of it was too rusted off to make out. The other one is under the cab, where you can't see it.
