I have a 94 F150 Automatic/overdrive, the engine light comes on and my tranny shifts hard in 1st and 2nd. if the engine light is off the tranny shifts fine. any sugestions? rmd

what else does not work?
Speedometer?
RABS?

how does the light go "off"? on its own or do you disconnect the battery?

Everything works, Just the engine light and hard shifting seems to be the problem. RMD

The light oes on and off on its own you may be driving down the road or just starting up. PMD
