Rear brake problem

I am out of town had a problem with back brakes. I took it in they replaced everything in the rear drum, shoes, wheel cylinder and spring kit. Now when I am driving and I let off of the throttle pedal my left wheel momentarily locks vehicle pulls to the right. The place I took it to charged me $700 to do the back brakes (crooks) I just wanted to get input on what it might be. I think they will try to say it is not there fault

Id guess a spring came off or wasnt installed. Sounds like the shoes arent springing back down.

When you stop accelerating you feel it dragging. They could just be a little tight too. Might go away after a few miles.

Seriously, remove the drums and check it out before it causes real damage. It sounds odd that the left wheel locks and it pulls right. Can you elaborate on that?????

well I had a buddy follow me to see if he could see something. He said the left wheel looked like it stopped for a split second. When it happens it feels like a tire spin as if i were on ice it pulls hard to the right just for a second then stops. The only reason I say left tire is because that is what my friend saw. It may go left then when wheel releases goes right. It is to quick to really tell, but if feels like it goes to the right.

Raise the tires off the ground and put it in gear see what it does when you let off gas.

When the truck pulls right it means the l/s isn't doing what it should or the r/s is locking up.

Found the problem. My Ubolts and springs were loose on the left side. So my rear end was actually moving out of allignment. Crazy it just started to happen after the Brake shop. Maybe they didn't like what I had to say about there outrageous price.
