lost egt probe!

lost egt probe!
well in my mission to find someone to install my egt guage i had lost the probe, or w/e that thing is called, i cannot find that thing ANYWHERE does anyone have an extra one they'd like to sell kinda cheap or know of a cheap place to buy one? there 50-75$ online its about enought ot buy a new guages take the probe out and sell the guage!..thanks guys..any help is appriciated

those probes are not cheap anywhere but you can call any big truck dealers in the area like KW, peterbuilt, international etc they will most likely have one in stock, can't tell ya what the price is going to be but it is where to get a replacement anyway.

Stroken .. all you need is what's called the Thermocouple .. you can get it at Diesel manor for $28.95 .. and you don't need the hi temp version .. the reg version (ISSPRO R658) is rated to 1600 degrees.

Thanks guys, he found it, just where he put it. 
I installed his gauges last night and didn't do that because he didnt have the sender. Now our only problem is locating a 1/4Npt tap, which he should be back in a few minutes with.

lol yeah, i started to have kris install them and then on the way to his house my trans blew out..so it went into the shop and i emptied everything out so when i get it back nothing was missing and what do you know that must have been in there, in a box stacked in the garage! but yep kris hooked me up, thands again guys....and thanks kris!
