I don't know what a dual sport model is, but I suspect the shocks on it are the same you'd find on any other similarly-equipped Ranger.
All Rangers can come with LS. You have to check the Axle Code set forth in the Vehicle Certiification Label (driver's door) to confirm which axle it has.
If you have to get a lsd, go with the detroit tru-trac, they use gears instead of clutches, require no modifires. The truc-trac grabs like a bear and has great highway manors.

What is the advantage of the detroit tru-track over a stock limited slip ranger diff? I am asking cause the tru-trac go for about 500 bucks, i am sure i can get a limited slip diff from a junk yard for cheaper and swap them out right? Is there a write up on that?
Thanks
The factory lsd are junk, thier not much better than an open diff. They have clutches that wear out, so I would be leary about a boneyard lsd. A factory unit may work for your needs, however, I offroad alot and have found the factory lsd to be about useless as they have a weak preload and don't grab verywell. The trutrac is allmost as good as a full locker. The factory unit may be allright for street use, sure isn't impressive off-road.

Questions answered. Thanks for the advice. I guess i will send the extra cash on the trutrac, from what i have read it is used on a lot of trucks.
