MAN I HOPE YOU WIN THAT! I would love to see that truck when it's redone, i got one just like that, although it's not a ranger, and used to be a 4x2 auto. I voted for you, and will continue to do so. good luck and congrats!

I want to thank all of for voting. We went to the final event at the local Ford dealership that sponsored the Machine Makeover Contest on Sat. and after having a few hours of last chance voting we were told that we were the WINNER. They kept the truck and said they would start on it Tues. I will be able to see it one more time after it has been sanded. Then I will not see it until the unveiling at a car show here in San Antonio in Nov. Again I want to thank all of you who took the time to vote. I will keep you posted on the progress as I can. when we get it back I will post pictures so you can see how it turned out. Thanks Phillip Bailey
Just wanted to post a update on whats being done. Jordan Ford kept the truck after the last chance voting on Sept. 3. Thet contacted me and asked what the truck would be used for. I told them that we would be using it to go camping, hunting, fishing, the lake, the beach. I told them that I thought a truck should be used as a truck. I have not talked to them since then. They will not tell me what they plan on doing other than they want to make it something that will be show quality but still able to do what we want. Its been a long 22 days wondering what they are doing. I will keep you posted on what I can find out. Thanks
Just a update to those of you who have been following this thread. I will get to see the truck on Nov. 7th for the first time. I have seen some photos of it in the body shop where it was stripped down to nothing but the cab setting on the frame. No fenders, no bed, no doors, no glove box, no nothing but the cab. The photo was in black & white so not to give any clues to what they are doing. I will post before and after pic. as soon as I can get some after shots of it. Thanks again to all of you who voted.
