91-93 Cougar and T-birds finally got the HO motor but it lacked the highly adaptable Mustang computer for big HP.

Late 70`s, Ryan, was the last of the T-Bird with the big engines, after that it was the V6, 302 and finally the 4.6.

What I consider big? The biggest engine for the year ie a 56 Tbird 292 is big 67 Tbird 390 interceptor is big in mid seventies 460 is big.
Think Fom nailed my Q though.

Someone has did his homework.
Just it was till 96. The T-bird was discontinued and the Cougar became a FWD in 1997-2002 using the same chassis as the Contour/Mystique.

I've seen a 69 Tbird witha 429 in it. The lights on the side of the front fenders also had the 429 script in them.
