Nephews truck in my gallery now.

I posted my nephews truck in my gallery now. It is a 96, not a 95 like he told me.

Well too bad needs TLC. Thats one thing with buying modern trucks that look "cool or straightpiped" most have been bagged around and mistreated.

Yeah I went to change power steering hose with one I have here. Same threads, but none fit into it properly. The hose has to be replaced. The brake light stays on also. So upon further inspection the master cyl. leaks. Had to unbolt the gas tank. Someone had undid it to patch aleak. Putting it back they pinched the wires to the sending unit and pump. Pump works, but gauge still not working. I could not remove due to trailer hitch system which I was not prepared to unbolt.
Got a horn in the truck so that works. Winsheild washer does not work it may be plugged. No spare. or jack or lug wrench.
Man these things all hurt trying to sell it. Unless he comes down here and buys the parts to fix the truck.

Up close you can see dents and rust above the wheel wells of the box. The endgate is banged up. The bottom of the bumper has been banged up, The front fenders don't line up I had to change the Left signal light it was busted. Cracks in the grill and headlight doors and lens.
Stereo stolen from it. So the wires are cut. Dash has cracks., The ignitions switch is a used replacement for the damged one when someone tryed to steal the truck.
But over all it still runs great and has lots of power. I tested the 4x4 and it works. Just all those cosmetic things need to be done to make the truck not looked so misused.

Got my new approach in. Now to get gravel. I been calling around for quotes and get told $400 before taxes. That is for 25 yards. Man I liked it when I use to just go in with my truck and have them load it. They won't do that anymore. Guys sued them for new springs claiming that when the payloader dumped the gravel in the truck it broke the springs. So they will not load your truck unless it is a one ton or larger.
Back to work on Monday.
Today worked on nephews truck and oil changed my trucks and car and Bobcat, even changed the fuel filter on the bobcat and greased the lift arms.
Tomorrow take it easy before back to work.

Sounds like you need to go back to work to get some rest, you`ve been a busy guy.
That`s a decent price for gravel, you have to pick it up yourself I take it. Be sure it`s good road base which is what you need for your road.
Last year I did a big area for hopper bottom bins out your way on a seed farm and the gravel that was delivered for this job was really good. I heard it came from some where close to Aberdeen which is a fair ways away.

That the prices I got for them to deliver it. That also did not include mileage. Right now just don't have the coin for it. What I have is saved for getting the new well trenched in to the house. All backhoes are are booked til Sept. or Oct. I been waiting since May. The construction boom is what is taking so long. Most operators do not want to do any rural work now. They rather stay to the cities and towns where most demands are.

Yes the tranny is good. It was even clean looking underneath. Not the usual grease build up on it.

I think so. I just pushed a button inside and the 4x4 engages when the 4x4 light comes on.
Man it sure is stiring up interest. Less than 24 hrs and already over 300 veiws of the truck, but only 4 inquirry's.
