Rear suspension air bags on 08 F-250
I was going to install the Air Lift reat suspension air bags on my truck today and ran into some trouble. The extra leaf that is on the F-250 I think needs to be removed because there isn't enough room between the springs and the frame with it in place. Has anyone installed them yet that they might be able to tell me what I am doing wrong or maybe post a picture of the finished product on your truck?
Thanks,
Leon

My 06 has airlift. I had the same exact issue. I removed the overload springs to make enough room for the airbags to operate. Only problem I may have is if an airbag or one of the lines breaks and I have my 16k fifth wheel hooked up, it will not have enough suport to hold the trailer.
I would suggest getting inboard airbags, such as Firetones that sit on the axle tube inboard of the leaf spring, which allows you to keep the factory overload spring in place and still have the added feature of the airbag. Hope this helps .... ~Brad
