Inconsistent Cruise Control
Well this happened again today for about the 5th time in a 4 month period or so...and i use cruise cointrol daily.
I will start the truck...everything normal...get up to speed...turn cruise on...set speed and let off gas...most of the time its fine...but once and awhile it is inconsistent and it will speed up and slow down and speed up and slow down...etc etc...and it keeps going...i have even tried turning the truck off and back on again...still does it....now its not a huge inconsistency...like maybe 1mph or so..but the motor is still not rotating at a constant rate....now i just have an XL...and dont have a Tach...i plan on installing one sometime soon...but i was just wondering if someone knew what caused this?

alright well after kind of driving it a few times more and stuff...i realized it does only do it when its "cold"....no matter what the tempature is outside it will do it within the first 5-10 minutes of driving...but if i just drive without cruise for 5-10 minutes...then set cruise....it works fine.
anyone know what this is?
