got propane?

Ok today while filling up i got talking to the guy next me also filling up and he was telling me about his propane setup and how it gets him about 50% increase in fuel economy and 60 more hp. I didnt getto ask him alot so here i am writing you guys trying to figure this out. Are these setups expensive and easy to do? Plus does it only work while engaged meaning the system would have to fipped on all the time? And is it dangerous i mean we are talking about about an explosive substance just sitting in your bed. i wouldn't want to be a rolling bomb.

Pretty good question. I do know that everything has a drawback of one sort or another but I'm not the expert to address your question. The experts will probably chime in here shortly.

I'm a logistics guy....my question is where you gonna put that tank of propane? All of the propane powered trucks I've seen have had the tank in the bed. Cars have had them in the trunk area. Can you afford to loose the space in your bed?
