a few q's
Hello everyone here. I own a merc Mountaneer it is a 98 has been great for me, has a 302 moter in it just wondering if I could make this engine faster already have a great muffler and has a nice sound but what else can I do this engine.
If I can than what? I know it is a Mountaneer but it is nice I dont know if it had been fixed up befor me, since when I get spark pluggs changed they say it is a racing motor? set up with hi preformance things, has Merc do this send out soem Mountaneers fixed up?
I know I may be wrong sorry, but I have called some places and have been told to call ford racing for what I can do? what? is up with that? I just want to set it up more.

look at the 302/351 engine forum for performance advice.
a good tuneup and new motorcraft wires is a good place to start.
also go through old posts and read the ones on performance.
