Ok guys I ordered the PIE, and it should be here next week.
Thanks for the help. I have to unplug all the wires in back of the dash to take the radio out right? How long should this take me to instal?

You'll love the product(FRD04-POD/S). Very easy to install. I just installed mine a couple days ago. Installation is just a matter of connecting the 16 pin connector, ground one wire to the chasis and conecting one wire to a 12 volt constant source which I tapped-in with a squeeze connector to a wire leading to the power point located below the radio. I used a squeeze connector so I wouldn't have to cut any factory wire. Squeeze connectors from Radio Shack are $1.99 for a 10 pack. You'll only use one. I zipped tied the black box interface to the chassis above to the left side of the ash tray is where I found the most room. I routed the dock cable in the ashtray. You'll be surprised and happy with the navigation controls from the radio buttons and best yet you can change mode to SAT2 from the AUX button on the radio and use the ipod itself for the control. However, I like the convenience of jumping in my truck, connecting the ipod that's put away in the ashtray and using the radio buttons for control. Not giving it a second thought. May have to buy another ipod just to leave connected in the truck all-the-time. Yeah!
