running really rich

This is gunna be a lil long but first off its a 99 f150 4x4 5.4l. 94000 miles. It started about 2 weeks ago on my way to work. I went to take of from a stop light and the truck missed a few times the picked back up then I floored it and it missed agian so I figured it was plugs. I got a set of plugs and they road around in the back seat untill tonight when I finally got around to putting them in. But that wasnt the only problem I was having by this time. About a week after the missing started the idle started to be jumpy. It would rev up to about 1200 then drop to about 200 then rev back up and keep doing the off and on but not all the time. By tonight it was all the time and the truck would stall too. It was pumping out black smoke and even some fuel. I checked the codes system too rich in bank 1 and bank 2. I put the new plugs in tonight and when i was putting them in i found a vaccum line that was kinked that went into the throttle body so I replaced it too. I cleared the codes and started the truck up. It ran rought for a lil bit then smoth then the idle problem and when I reved it black smoke and fuel shot out the exhuast. Now I get p1132 and p1152 but it doesnt say what it is. I decided to clear the codes the old fashin way by disconecting the battery. After I did that the truck ran great for about 5 min. It idled at about 800 reved up fine and no black smoke. But after those 5 mins the idle started to jump and black smoke again but no codes.

Any ideas? Sorry for the long post. I hope someone has enought time to read it. Oh and one other thing the truck has a little exhaust leak on the right manifold. a bolt broke and its making the ticking noise when I give it gas. Could this have anything to do with it?

Thanks a ton
John

Sounds like the truck is running way too rich. On my old Ranger a fuel pressure regulator would do what you are experiencing.

The exhaust manifold is a different issue, that is one you will want to fix after this problem is corrected.

Yes the truck is runnig way to rich. Ithought i could be that too. I fordgot to add in there that a buddy of mine has a scanner that im gunna hook up to it tomarrow. What read outs should I be looking for and what should they read? such as how long injectors are open and such.

Thanks for the input

Pull the vacuum line off of the fuel pressure regulator, if there are any signs of gas, it is bad and sucking raw fuel in thru the vacuum line and causing your rich condition.

Those codes are for an over lean intake condition.
Look at the intake tract from the air meter to the throttle body, loose throttle body and bad hoses anywhere on the intake manifolding including on the back side were you can't see.
