Todd here. Own a small trucking company, and a construction company. We do industrial plumbing, HVAC, and general contracting as well. I am trying to move to residential where there is more money per man hour to be made, and trim some of the lazy guys here that work for me.

I have been with the same woman for what feels like forever, but is reality is only 5 years, two stepkids, 10, and 8. One FAT St. Bernard, two VERY protective Rotteweilers that patrol the trucks at night, and ride with me EVERYWHERE that I go in the Dually.
By the way I am 31 years old going on 72.......

I'm Chase, 25 years old and married for almost 5 years (together for 7) to Amanda. Two children- Alyssa (3) and Hailey (6 months). We also have 7 rabbits (3 babies yesterday), 3 horses, 2 dogs, 2 fish, and a cat. Grew up in southern ID (Twin Falls), lived in north ID (Troy) for 4.5 years, WA (Winthrop) for 1 year (which is where my wife grew up), and now in southern OR (Lakeview) for almost a year. I work for the US Forest Service (please no bashing- I'm not a tree hugger I swear ). "Free time" if I could ever find any is spent hunting, fishing, camping, or riding either a dirt bike, snowmobile, or horse. And I tend to enjoy my alcohol on occasion

Great thread, its good to meet everyone!

I'm Brian. I'm 18 years old. I worked as a mechanic's apprentice for a year with a construction company (they only owned all fords ) and I was supposed to go to Universal Technical Institute to be a Diesel Mechanic. Decided I liked being a mechanic better as a hobby, so now I'm going to school to become a police officer. I work at a farm co-op store dealing with livestock feed and with a landscaper cutting grass. I have a girlfriend of 10 months (long time for me) and I like driving all sorts of trucks and equipment, fishing, and shooting stuff

figured i'd include a picture so you could put a name with the face... and some of the fords i used to work on. (

OK, I'm Roger, screen name kawa, has no real meaning except when I joined this group my normal screen name was not accepted and I was told that it was already taken. "harley dog" I live outside of Auburn Calif. since
1980.

Let's see, I have children older than about 90% of you and a grandson and granddaughter older than 30% of you (these are guesstaments)

I have owned a service station when we gave away Green Stamps, worked for oil companies raising and lowering prices, lowest I can recall was
$0.24.9 in Hollywood.

I have been a jet engine tech in the Air Force (Ours) B-52's and B-47's
I have worked as a Deputy for Los Angeles Sheriff's Department and I retired from a No. Calif Police Dept. in 1989. I owned a saddle shop for 10 years before I started a Private Investigation business which I closed and permanently retired, again 2 years ago.

That is when I became interested in the wonderful world of diesel trucks and I bought my present OBS to pull a newly purchased 5th wheel.

My wife and I took one three (3) week trip and then she was diagnosed with lung and bone cancer.

We keep the faith and life moves on. And I just keep Moding the truck in hopes of the next travel trip.

The name is Chris. Who would have thought ha ha. I'm 23 live on a farm with about 20 head of cattle. I went to school at SCC in Milford NE. I have been a mechanic at the CaseIH dealership for about 4 years. Worked at a place called Red Repair in Wahoo during hi-school. He was a bush puller for years and worked on others. Even som prostocks and super farms once in awhile. Lots of cool go fast parts out there. I think I learned more there than at tech school.

missed this post the first time

name is Mike, 41, married 21 yrs, 2 kids, 2 grandkids. live in far western kentucky close to Murray. Full time job is a machining production supervisor/engineer/therapist for BriggsStratton. we build 3.5 million units per yr. also hobby farm, raise a few cows. have 3 horses and a pair of mules, several dogs (dogs have a high turnover rate lol) owned a obs powerstroke for several yrs which was bought to haul the livestock. I had a chevy bb gas burner which I traded off when gas hit $1.35 and getting 6 mpg to save money and diesel was just over a $1. Now its $4, so the obs powerstroke does not move much

Really enjoy this forum, have learned a lot and saved a lot too.

Nice to meet everyone
