up pipe ?
if the up pipe gaskets are leaking will it sound like the lifters are no good i am getting this noise like the lifters are noisey like in a gasser but i pulled the valve covers and all is well can it be the up pipes it almost sounds like its low on oil you all know whati am saying right any input would be great thanks guys

I would imagine it would. Maybe a spit/tick sound? Kindalike an exhaust leak but not completely possibly mixed with a tick. That could be it. Is your boost psi low? That would be a tell tell sign.
