I did at my house in Evansville IN. The 3 stall garage was deep enough for a CC F-250, although the roof clearance was tight and you wanted to pull the mirrors in first. You could get it in without pulling the mirrors in, but it was tight.

At this house, the SC F-250 will fit in the garage beside the Crown Victoria, but it's a very tight fit. I don't store it unless there is a good reason to store it.

it fits in my shop w/ 14' bay doors, but unless it's being worked on, it sits outside. i do try to find a shady spot though if possible.

I put mine in a garage, nice fit no worries, standard garage door, a little deeper, but it fits my truck no problem.

Oh yeah.... As a matter of fact that's where mine spends most of it's time. I'm pretty sure that you need an 8' high door and depending on the truck (RC, SC ,CC), you might need longer than a standard garage. I specifically built my garage with an 8' door to be sure I could fit the truck. If I remember right the SD comes in at just around 7' + mark. I measured my '03 F250 and its highest point was the antenna. Pretty sure that was 7'3". My barn is 26 wide by 28 deep. I can park it in there with about 2' behind it and 3' in front.

Mine fits in a standard garage door but had to change the antenna out for a shorty. Also had to build a ramp for the front tires to roll up as there is a lip for a normal car/truck (Old F150) to stop at. Needs 6'9" for clearance so make it by 1/2 inch.

At our house it is a race to get your viehicle in 1st for the space. HD and other things take up the other space.

I took mine off, always a pain having a fixed antenna anyway, have to take it off to run thru the car wash(home depot has one that actually fits the big hipped trucks) and I rarely listen to FM/AM anyway. The trucks will fit a standard door with or without the antenna(I didn't measure before ordering so I was extremely lucky that mine did).

I park mine in a carport at my apartment complex. I back in and the carport only covers about 1/3 of the hood, but it keeps the frost from freezing on my windows in the winter. The big reason I got the carport though is so I know who is parking next to me, and if I find a ding or scratch in my truck I know who did it.

I have been looking for a house and I am making sure that the house either has a garage that my truck can fit in, or enough land so I can build one for it.

I've had 3 homes and my truck only fit in 1 garage and boy was it tight! Weather service said we were going to get golf ball sized hail so I crammed it in there, had to crawl out the window to get out. That was the first and last time it ever saw the inside of a garage. My truck has seen 120 degree days in Phoenix and -40 below days in Montana so I promised her the next house, the garage will be big enough for her!

I guess I'm lucky. My old F250 parked in the normal garage in the old house and at the new house, and the new SD goes into the 'steel building in the back' garage that I have in the 'new' (11 years now) house. I think the old house had normal rollup doors with a 7' header. New house has 8' doors with rollup above the header.

Tilt up one-piece doors take up clear height. Changing to a rollup that is above the header on the inside might solve the parking problem for those who can clear the header.

Mine doesn't even get close - too tall and about 3" too long to clear the garage door braces. Even if it would, that would require me to put the boat or the wifes ride outside - that's not about to happen....

Garage SUper Duty

My concern was alleviated when I backed my 350 into the garage (6.4 diesel DRW short bed) and made it by two inches with my rear bumper pressed against the wall.

My garage is 24' deep, 3 stall, and the truck just fits. Can't walk around the truck when the door (16 x 7) is closed, so I park pass side against wall. Leaves enough room to open door with wifes car in garage also.

I've never had room in any garage, I have backed in to unload equipment from the joists but to many tools have always occupied the garage to park inside even if the truck could fit (doubtful).

My SD usually only resides in the garage during winter months (and sometimes not even then). I had the luxury(?) of building my own garage to my own dimensions, so there is enough room for the SD and the wife's SUV, along with two sleds in the winter time. It is a little tight with the sleds in there, but one parks behind the SD and the other behind the SUV. Lawnmower and ATV go in the sheds for the winter, so there is plenty of room in the summer to be in there causing trouble!

As a side note, if you're looking to build a garage for your SD.....TRUST me...go with slightly larger doors....it's well worth it. I also laid 3 courses of block before framing (Cheaper than buying the wood!)
