the tack looks a lot like Massey Ferguson the 4 arcs are for the 4 speeds upper being in low range and the bottom 4 being in high range the yellow mark (pto) is where your rear pto is running the designed 450 RPM and the green mark with a black mark through it marked 2400 rpm is the engine redline the other 3 black marks are engine rpm in 500 rpm increments

Actually, the designated (yellow) mark for the Power Take Off rpm's could be either 540 or 1000 rpm's at the shaft depending on the tractor, and it's from an IH (you can see the IH emblem just below the center of the gauge/needle).

Finaly I meet some people with higher then room temp IQ.
Clux you nailed it.
On the PTO some of the IH had two shafts. One for 1000 and one for 540. so it could be for either or.
And hey weren't them old Olivers fun? Had a earth shattering top speed of 12MPH. If you were lucky to find one with the high speed aux. it might break 20MPH.
I'd hazard a guess on why they stopped making aircraft:
Donald Douglas started making them.
I've been inside a tri-motor. They were outfitted beautifully, though somewhat Spartan.
Pop
Ford stopping production had nothing to do with Donald Douglas. The Ford Tri-Motor is the airplane in question, but what was the original name?
The original Douglas Aircraft Company was located exactly where? City and cross streets, please. No, it was not adjacent to Clover Field (Santa Monica Airport). That was the second location.
