Will, from Rocklin
He asked me if anyone in the Chapter knew anything about othe '67 to 72 model years, or even maybe owned one. I told him I thought some of you knew a bit about them.
He also was interested in the BBQ you guys were planning. I told him he would likely be welcome, and to read these posts to hear about the details.
Please post if you know anything about the bump-side trucks, or are planning or attending the BBQ.

I own a bumpside, am getting to know a lot about them, and will hopefully bring my '70 to the BBQ. TigerDan also owns a bumpside ('68)and probably has forgotten more about mechanical things than I will ever know. Never3nufhp has a '67 or '68 and is a wizard with experimenting on timing and the distributer.
And finally, our project truck is a bumpside as well. So I think there is plenty of interest in the 67-72s. The more of them the better.

Yeah, me n' Will can talk! But to clarify, what BBQ?
I'd better read all the old posts and figure this one out.

I suspect that if the crowd gets too big we may want to start thinking about bringing our own dead animal flesh to toss on the grill.
) I'm not only into bumpsides but I'm the Bumpside forum moderator and am planning on attending the BBQ so hopefully we can initiate you properly at that time...
Tim, if you can make it to the BBQ that might be a good opportunity for us to get together and do a little pickin'...

But, in the intrest of sport, maybe I can round up a black powder pistol and we can sit the tuba in our old bullet trap

Karl...I'm just kidding, don't start dissing my Chevy's just yet
