Maybe Coil ??

Engine Lite on steady.............Auto Zone Meter.......now says Misfire 3 & 5 cyl.
New plugs and wires, has the orginial coil with 187,000 miles. compression is 140 with that mileage, no oil burn, nothing.

Change the coil and it should fix the problem?

I take it this is a 4.2 motor?

yes it is 4.2 motor . after 5 trips to ford and autozone i changed plugs and wires 2 times and then changed the coil out the blue and problem went away
