2002 powerstroke a/c problems?

2002 powerstroke a/c problems?
Can anyone tell me why my A/C comes and goes on my F450. It seems to me that the vent door may be opening up. When it quits it gets real musty smelling in the cab. I guess it happens mostly when I slow down or stop moving. My charge is good and the condensor is clean, and it seems to have no problem draining the evap. I think the vent doors are still vaccum controled but don't know where the vaccum motor is or if it runs off the battery or by a pump on the motor? Thanks for any Help, Big Al the Farmers Pal.

Thanks, I think that will help. I used to hear a noise like everyone was talking about but though it was just the vent door shutting. I haven't noticed that noise in a while I bet that vaccum pump is taking a crap. Thanks, Big Al the farmers Pal
