why is this?
Anyone know why edelbrock blocked off the two rear cooling passages on their performer intake manifold? I don't see what you could possibly gain from this but??? Thanks for your opinions guys.

Edelbrock? That looks like a Ford part number on the top of the manifold. The bottom casting detail also looks very much like a stock manifold. Very interesting. Could you post a picture showing the entire top and entire bottom?
And no, sorry, I don't know why the rear cooling passage is blocked off. I understand that some manifolds have the rear crossover and some don't, I don't think it makes a lot of difference.
