everthing was fine untill i swaped the gauge cluster from a 94 f150 with a tach into my 92 f150 and when i started it the voltage gauge stayes really low and i put a meter on the battery and it olny at 11.8v while running i also swaped out another altenator i had that should be good and the same thing also my abs light is on but i dont think that has anything to do with it any ideas on why this would happen thanks

There are two or four wires that need to be swapped in the plugs.
Your green wire with a red stripe does not have any power on it going to the alternator although it will not hurt the alternator or battery it will charge until you put battery voltage on this wire.
Here is the charge problem, as you can see the wires or on the wrong plug and pins.
