I agree with RawPower, I wanted to buy a prerunner bumper, but they wanted too much money for them, so I went and bought a tube bender and notcher,I already had the other tools, and made my own. I will allways be able to use these tools so it was a good investment.

well i got an arc welder, mig welder, acetylene torch, grinder, but i dont have that machine you use to bend steel.. i want the main bar to countour the body.. maybe i can just use my torch and heat it up and bend it.

every body around here goes to the muffler to bend steel, it is a private shop, not a chain store. so that may make a differance if they will do it or not. at this shop he just wants you to make the bend with a piece of wire and he will bend it for so much a bend. his pipe bender has created alot of thing other things than mufflers, like race car frames, bumpers even some sweet looking wheelie bars so they can bend some pretty good sized steel just ask them. it might be a thing to consider.
