weak horn tone

weak horn tone
My horn works fine when depressed, but gives a very very weak tone when the panic button is pressed or the passive security system is activated. Note: the lights blink as they are supposed to when the PATS is activated. What may be causing this weak horn tone problem and how can I fix it? Note: this truck had a dealer installed alarm that started giving problems so it was taken out. I don't know if the de-installation affected the PATS in any way. Any help is appreciated.

- Power distribution box fuse 5 (20A)
