is the bolt about 2/3 up towards the front of the tranny pan where I will put my tranny temp sensor?
what exactly is this?
when I get the new tranny cooler does this one come off? It looks simple but I'm sure for me it will get complicated.

1. Yep, that's the spot for the tranny temp sender.
2. TRS, Transmission range selector. It's the electrical side of the shifter. It's mechanical too going into the tranny.
3.Yep, I removed mine and hung it up in the shop. Nice decoration, that's all it's good for.

Some people uses the stock tranny cooler for the power steering pump. 
. I have mine in the shelf for decoration like Cuda.
