D P Tuner??
I am still very green to this PSD scene but learning everyday.
I keep reading about all of your D P Tuners--I think I understand that this is something that plugs into my computer and can be switched to several power/economy settings--is this right?? anyone have a picture and/or more info I can study up on?? my late '99 is bone stock and just turned 70k miles, I just bought it 3 weeks ago. Thanks!!

yes it hooks up into your pcm and then you have s wire that connects to you chip and then comes out by your steering wheel and you have a controller that you can switch programs on the fly with i love mine and VERY easy to install

and very effective.
My uncle just got an 07 cumming 5.9 , he put an edge juice with attitude , intake and exhaust, still cant even come close to keeping up with me
(but his truck looks better heh)

LOOKS BETTER??? brother, you need to hit a better metropolis, 'cuz that low-grade crack you're smokin' has your vision blurry. NO WAY an 07 Dodge looks better than our PSDs!!! They had to come out with the Mega Cab just to match our standard Crew! Dodge should re-brand the other sizes as "Meager Cabs"!!

looks better than my truck (the body is a little beat up)
He has a lot of visual upgrades on his truck.

Still, the phrase "can't polish a turd" comes to mind! JUST KIDDING!! To each his own. In my way of thinking, if you love your truck, no matter the brand/engine/condition, well then good on ya!!

Is the DP really going to do anything with everything else completely stock?? I am not really looking for too much more power, but more fuel economy-is this what the "80econo" setting is for? do all the numbers 80, 120, ect stand for how much more horsepower the tuner will make the engine make?? seems like alot.

Yes. That means it is not the greatest for towing but it might move some light loads.
Yes. however, in the auto modifying business, too much is merely a good starting point and is certainly not enough.
